MILLERS TIPS

Well this is the bay that a few years ago I had close to 40 hits, I landed my 5 Pike limit within 2 hours. After putting these Pike on the stringer, awhile later I pulled it up, and and only 1 fish was on it. So I then continued to fish the same area, and within another hour or 2, I managed to get my limit back.

Over the years this area has proven to be very popular, usually early morning and evening seem to be the best times. The bay is very shallow, with lots of mud and weeds. If the wind blows from any direction out the west it is hard to stay.

Crappie seem to hold pretty good here too or just on the outside of this bay. Try fan-casting the whole area around you until you find what is good.
