Now heres the Monster Northern Pike that someone sent me from their fishing trip of June 1, 2005. This Pike was 54", the girth was 23 3/8", and it weighed 47lbs. This is trully the largest Pike I have ever seen from New York. The Pike was caught in Chippawa Creek. It was caught on a Johnson Silver Minnow with a white, double tail Mr Twister.
This Northern Pike was so large that it busted the net and trashed his boat, with fishing gear thrown all over. It makes you wonder are there any other Pike this size? Well only way to find out is head up to the area and fish it.
